The recipient of the 2015-2016 award was the Center for Learning and Professional Development (CLPD).  Their report and supporting documents described assessment and quality improvement processes related to the center’s Aggie Leadership Training Academy (ALTA) certification program.  This new program, designed to enhance staff leadership talents, optimize resources, and promote an environment of motivation and engaging service at NMSU, convened its first cohort in September of 2015.  Strengths demonstrated by the report include

• Self-reflective engagement with findings of the assessment and other data pertinent to the overall success of the ALTA program.
• A detailed, thoughtful action plan that will further increase the center’s knowledge of the success of the program and identify areas for improvement.
